The European Lung Foundation (ELF) is conducting a new survey into patients experience of pulmonary rehabilitation.
The survey is part of a joint project by the American Thoracic Society (ATS) and European Respiratory Society (ERS) to improve access to pulmonary rehabilitation services by developing an official policy statement on how pulmonary rehabilitation should be delivered worldwide.
The ELF would like to invite you to share your experiences, to help with this project – it only takes 10 minutes.
The link to the survey is: PR SURVEY. The deadline for this is the end of September. More information is on the ELF website.
The value of pulmonary rehabilitation is known to be of great value to COPD patients. A recent simple audit of 30 patients with COPD exacerbations admitted to hospitals in the NHS Grampian region found that 60% (18) had not been to PR classes. Your participation in the new survey is important and could improve access to pulmonary rehabilitation services in the UK.
