The British 10k is a prestigious and sought-after 10km road race, with a great route through the heart of central London. Over 10,000 runners fill the streets of the nation’s capital and get the unique chance to run past many of the country’s greatest landmarks including Big Ben, The London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and Westminster Abbey. Runners range from charity fundraisers and recreational runners right through to Olympic champions!

Be sure to set your alarm that day—the race starts at 9:30am sharp!

The route has not been set in stone yet, but click here to see the 2017 route. As soon as Virgin release the planned route for this year, we will put it here.

About the ticket

We buy tickets to this annual event each year and give them for free to people who wish to run and raise funds for us.
All we ask is that you create a Just Giving page and point it to our charity. As soon as we see that you are starting to get donations, we will give you a code that you can use on the Virgin Sport’s website to buy your ticket for free. We have a requirement that you get a minimum of £200 in donations (not including Gift Aid) which help to cover our costs for the event. We would ask that you do your best to get as much money as you can and not just to aim for the £200 and then stop. Our charity is run solely from donations by the general public and we need your help to continue to support those affected with Alpha-1 and their families.

Once you have reached the £200 mark and it is closer to the event, we will send you one of our running tops which are 100% dry wicking technical running tops (which the professionals use) with the option of a Vest or T-Shirt style.

Our ticket office is now closed as all tickets have been taken for 2018
