ASICS London 10k (British 10K Run)
The race is well known as one of the world’s greatest road race route. Passing through the heart of London you’ll see many of the capital’s most iconic landmarks.

Introducing, the ASICS London 10k. Virgin Sport and ASICS are teaming up and returning to central London next summer with a brand-new look for the ultimate street party.
Everything you loved about the British 10k – live bands and DJ’s motivating you at every kilometre, cheering fans and fan hubs are back, with a few surprises up our sleeve.
We think this is the best way to see Central London. Did you know the route goes past eight tube stations? You’ll also run past the True Geographical Centre of London, down closed Regent Street, the Strand and Embankment, and get the best view across the river of the London Eye.
PLASTIC-FREE RACE ROUTE
Did you know the ASICS 10k race route is plastic-free? Last year 40,000 plastic bottles were removed from the route and replaced with 100% recyclable cups. Virgin Sport is proud to be the first mass participation event organiser in the UK to move away from plastic and develop a more sustainable strategy for keeping our runners hydrated. Stay tuned! We’re continuing to develop sustainability initiatives, to further reduce our impact on the environment in 2020.
About the ticket
We buy tickets to this annual event each year and give them for free to people who wish to run and raise funds for us.
All we ask is that you create a Just Giving page and point it to our charity (if you are not sure how to do this, we have a guide here) . Once you have reached (or got close to it) the £200 donation mark we will give Virgin your email address so that they can give you one of our tickets for free.
We have a requirement that you raise a minimum of £200 in donations (not including Gift Aid) which help to cover our costs for the event. We would ask that you do your best to get as much money as you can and not just to aim for the £200 and then stop. Our charity is run solely from donations by the general public and we need your help to continue to support those affected with Alpha-1 and their families.
Once you have reached the £200 mark and it is closer to the event, we will offer you either a T-Shirt or Vest (these are dry wicking technical running tops, the same type the top professionals use), the same as the ladies in the above photos are wearing.
Please use the below form to show that you are interested in running for us.
Be aware that by using the below form, it does not grantee you a ticket to the event.
